MAY 2008 QUESTION OF THE MONTH
Dear DIVAS:
I’m in love with a guy who is dating someone else. Him and his girlfriend go
to the same school but I see him all the time at Youth Group and at Church.
When we’re around each other he’s all lovey-dovey with me and tells me that
he loves me. But he still hasn’t broken up with his girlfriend. Should I
continue to wait on him or just move on?

‘Ima just keep it real. This guy is a jerk, obviously he isn’t the guy you or his girl friend thinks he is… he’s playing her and if you let him, he’ll play you as well-assuming he isn’t already doing so, it’s called the benefit of the doubt, I strongly suggest you just move on and tell him to kick rocks. He’ll get over it, as will you. He didn’t break up with his girl friend because he has no intentions of doing so… why would he? For you? Boo, let’s be real…that is what we’re doing, right? He AIN’T leaving is girl for you or anyone else… if anything, he’s gon’ try and see what he can get from the both of you. Does the girl friend know about you since you know about her? That’s irrelevant anyway, this guy is playing games, almost don’t blame him, he sounds young and immature… Live life, keep God first and always know that He loves you way more than any guy will ever claim to! Love you, boo!! ‘
